The pool has become my favourite cross-training activity. It’s an awesome low impact environment and allows me to get in a full body workout while also building my cardio.
When I am doing a swim (as opposed to a pool run) workout, I like to use a pull buoy so that I can isolate my arms. Also a fun fact about me – I swim faster when I DON’T kick (don’t get me started – swimming is definitely NOT my best sport!)
This pull buoy is not identical to the one I use, but it is very similar. There are a few different styles out there – I find that this wedge works best for me, but have a look and pick the one you think will be best for you.
