Depending on the type of running you like to do, Trekking poles are an excellent tool. I really enjoy trail running, but big steps up (when logs or rocks are on the trail) were challenging. So were the descents. Enter the trekking pole. I received a pair of these poles for my birthday and while they did take some practice, once I had them down pat they were awesome.
Trekking poles provide stability and some extra power when taking big steps and much needed stability when running downhill – helping to protect your body.
My Review:
My brief review of these poles are that they are great – I’ve been very happy with them. They are sturdy, easy to adjust and comfortable to use. I have used them both on the street (especially after my knee surgery) and on the trails. I have also used them when walking, running and hiking. They met all of my needs perfectly.
